I became a mental health and exercise coach and personal trainer as exercise changed my life. It enabled me to recover from my darkest days and go on to become the most resilient and happiest version of myself I am today

I now coach others how to use exercise to transform their lives. As a society we are conditioned to start exercise just to lose weight and change our appearance, and this frustrates me. If you look past this, it is clear that regular exercise is the single most effective, accessible and affordable activity available to us to improve our overall health

With over five years experience of working with hundreds of people, I know what barriers people face and the lack of support or empathy often available in a traditional exercise environment. Many have developed the view that they can’t do it, they don’t fit in or they don’t get what they need from it

I provide tailored support that meets people where they are at - regardless of experience levels - and we work together to build a clear plan that lays out what they need to know and where their focus should go

Services

In-Person Coaching

I offer 1-2-1 in-person coaching in whatever form that may look like for you. We can either workout at your home or in an outside location, depending on circumstances. I cover Bordon, Whitehill and the surrounding areas. This is about giving you the support and tools you need to make healthy changes you can actually stick to, and actually work for you. We map out your journey and what you specifically need to make it a success, then create a plan that works for you, your life and your routine

Online Coaching

I have created a 12-week online coaching course that you can do no matter where you are in the world. This is a mental health and exercise coaching course that helps you learn the skills and knowledge you need to make exercise and healthy changes work for you. If you feel lost and know that you need to start to exercise and make healthier choices but have no idea where to start, this course is designed for you. I also offer nutrition courses if you specifically need help with this element of your journey

Workshops & Talks

I deliver in-person and online coaching workshops for groups, covering a range of topics from mental health, nutrition and exercise. These can be tailored to community, corporate and employee settings, depending on your specific requirements. My qualifications and skill-set are transferable, and how we approach these matters always comes back to how we can help people make healthier decisions to get more out of life, and in turn we create happier and more fulfilled communities

About Me

  • Exercise Changed My Life

    I wouldn’t be in this position today without exercise. I turned to it at my lowest point, and then eventually used it to transform every aspect of my health so I could build a life on my terms and in line with my values

    My situation came to a head in 2021. I came out of the pandemic suffering from depression and anxiety, and eventually I was signed off long-term sick from work - I broke down and couldn’t cope anymore

    I knew I needed to make changes to how I lived my life, and the gym and moving my body was my lifeline. The energy I did have was used to exercise, and these sessions first helped me stabilise and hang in there mentally, and then soon they became the glue that enabled me to piece my life back together

    I quit my corporate job as drastic changes were needed. I left behind the pressurised office environment and a role that had massively contributed to the desperate situation I found myself in - I was lost, no longer in touch with who I was and what I valued. Exercise and focusing on all areas of my health helped me reconnect with myself and what was important to me

    Due to the positive ways in which exercise changed my life, I decided to qualify as a personal trainer and then a Mental Health & Exercise Coach, so I could use what I’ve learned to help others improve their mental health through exercise

  • To champion exercise as a powerful tool for change and support people in looking beyond the surface level reasons for exercising

    To demonstrate exercise as a viable alternative tool that can lead to early interventions for mental health support

    To coach the whole person, not just the body, and help them to improve every area of their health so they live life to the fullest

    To show that better health does not come from restriction or punishment but instead from self-compassion and working on your perspective and how you frame progress

  • Empathy - I’ve walked the path you now find yourself on - I’ve felt the pain in both everyday struggle and when trying to do something about my situation. I understand the problems you face and how to navigate them

    Education - to change we need to understand why we feel and think the way we do, so we can learn how to move forward on a different path this time

    Abundance - you don’t need more of anything. You have everything you need in life, you just need to learn to notice it and harness your energy in the right way to see it clearly 

    Teamwork - a coaching journey is a collaboration, so I create an environment of support, compassion and understanding so that you feel seen, heard and in control 

    Personalisation - every step of your journey is carefully planned to ensure we never lose sight of the core life values personal to you. I will never force you to do anything that is not in line with you and your goals
